Dr. Hasan Syed
Board-certified orthopedic surgeon
What I love most about orthopedic surgery is the opportunity to structurally fix musculoskeletal problems and help patients return to the activities that matter most to them.
I am passionate about helping patients overcome significant pain, injury, and loss of function. My approach is patient-centered and straightforward: I take the time to identify and explain the underlying cause of a patient’s condition, discuss both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options clearly, and develop a treatment plan tailored to each patient’s individual needs and goals.
I have been fortunate to train at some of the nation’s leading academic medical centers. My training has provided broad experience in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, with an emphasis on advanced surgical techniques and evidence-based care.
In addition to caring for patients, I serve as an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Loma Linda University, where I have the privilege of teaching and mentoring orthopedic surgery residents. Teaching keeps me closely connected to advances in the field and gives me the opportunity to share surgical techniques, clinical decision-making, and practical experience with the next generation of orthopedic surgeons.
I also serve as an Orthopedic Team Physician for UC Riverside and California State University, San Bernardino, caring for athletes and helping them safely recover from injuries and return to competition.
